Online tickets
1. Can I book tickets online?
Only current offers can be booked online.
Prices and offers may vary. Please note the information when purchasing tickets.
Use the following link to access our ticket offerings that can be booked online.
2. Which payment methods can I use when buying online?
Online tickets can currently be paid for with PayPal or credit card. We are working on offering additional payment methods in the future.
3. What does it mean when there are no more tickets available online?
In such cases, the ticket contingent may be exhausted, a reservation may exist, or an event may take place at this time.
If online tickets are no longer available, there is always the option of purchasing tickets at the box office directly on site.
However, the following should be noted: During the holidays, on (long) weekends and public holidays, as well as in the event of bad weather, there may be a sharp increase in the number of visitors with longer waiting times at the box office. If you can plan your visit in advance, we recommend booking online tickets in advance.
4. What do I have to consider when buying tickets online?
If you have booked an online ticket, you no longer have to register at the ticket office on site, but instead go directly to the entrance in the foyer (signposted on site). Please bring your booked online ticket with you either digitally on your smartphone or as a printout.
Please allow enough time to find a parking space, use the toilet and travel time and be at the entrance in the foyer in good time before the tour begins.
5. What if I cannot arrive on time for the time slot I have booked?
If the visitor initiates a cancellation or rebooking of online tickets themselves, e.g. due to a late arrival, fees amounting to €1.00 gross per ticket. Please also read our complete terms and conditions.
The background is that the provider charges us corresponding transaction fees for relevant booking processes. By passing on the fee directly to the groups of guests actually affected, a general increase in prices is avoided. We therefore recommend that you always allow sufficient time for the journey, the search for a parking space on site (especially during holidays and other peak times) and the walk from the parking lot to the cave in order to be able to meet your tour time and thank you for your support and understanding.
6. I booked online tickets but did not receive a confirmation email with the tickets attached, what now?
Please check your email provider's spam folder first. If you cannot find the tickets there, contact us at info@harzer-hoehlen.de, stating your full name and the email address you used to book. Our customer service is available Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
7. I would like to book a family ticket online but can't find a way to do this, why?
Family tickets are currently only available at the box office on site. As soon as the system makes it possible to purchase these online, we will inform you via our homepage.
