Everything you need to know about booking online tickets

You can read here what you as a guest have to consider when purchasing online tickets.

We, the Dripstone Caves of Rübeland, are currently changing our online ticketing. In order to make the transition phase from the old to the new system as transparent as possible, we would like to inform our guests about the most important things in connection with the change:

Step 1:

Since it was recently impossible to purchase online tickets for our tour offers, small contingents of online tickets for several tour times will gradually be offered from mid December.

If you cannot find any offers in the online ticket area, this does not mean that there are no tickets available at all, but rather that only the online contingent is sold out. Tickets for a cave tour can still be purchased on site at the box office.

Step 2:

From January onwards, tickets will be able to be booked online in advance in the usual way. During expected peak times (holidays, public holidays, long weekends, etc.), we recommend, as usual, booking online tickets in advance to avoid waiting times until the next available tour at the box office.

In connection with purchasing online tickets, we ask you to note the following:

Payment methods for online tickets

Online tickets can currently be paid for with PayPal or credit card. We are working on offering additional payment methods in the future.

Family tickets

Family tickets are currently only available at the box office on site. As soon as the system makes it possible to purchase these online, we will inform you via our homepage.

Rebooking/cancellation of online tickets

In the future, we will charge a fee of 1.00 € per ticket for rebooking and canceling online tickets. The reason is that the provider charges us corresponding transaction fees for relevant booking processes. By passing on the fee directly to the groups of guests actually affected, a general increase in prices is avoided. We therefore recommend that you always allow sufficient time for the journey, the search for a parking space on site (especially during holidays and other peak times) and the walk from the parking lot to the cave in order to be able to meet your tour time and thank you for your support Understanding.

What needs to be taken into account on site?

If you have booked an online ticket, you no longer have to register at the ticket office on site, but instead go directly to the entrance in the foyer (signposted on site). Please bring your booked online ticket with you either digitally on your smartphone or as a printout. Didn't receive an email with the online tickets you booked? Please check your email provider's spam folder first. If you cannot find the tickets there, contact us at info[at], stating your full name and the email address you used to book. Our customer service is available Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

We thank you for paying attention to the information and look forward to your visit!
Your team at the Dripstone Caves of Rübeland
