For a carefree cave experience …
… there are a few things that you should consider in advance when planning your visit with us.
If you have booked an online ticket, you no longer have to register at the ticket office on site, but instead go directly to the entrance in the foyer (signposted on site). Please bring your booked online ticket with you either digitally on your smartphone or as a printout.
You should be at the cash desk 5 to 10 minutes before the booked time.
Please factor in the time you need to look for a parking spot, go to the toilet, travel time or a short waiting time at the box office.
The toilet is located outside the cave at the Blankenburger Straße 35/36, directly opposite the Baumanns Cave (costs 0.50 €).
In our caves there is a constant temperature between 8 ° and 9 ° C all year. For your visit to us, we recommend solid shoes and warm and comfy clothing.
The guide path includes numerous steps in both caves. Therefore, it is unfortunately not barrier-free and cannot be accessed with a stroller or a wheelchair.
It is not allowed to bring pets into the cave. You can find more information HEREin the FAQs.
Taking photos and filming with a video camera, mobile phone, etc. is generally not permitted. You can find more information HEREin our FAQ section.
Close to the dripstone caves you will find adequate parking spots for cars, buses and also caravans. More information can be found HERE.
Please also note our house and visitor rules.
