An incredible adventure
23 May 1863.
Hamburg geology professor Otto Steinbrock discovers a yellowed parchment with enigmatic characters and apparently unbelievable content in the ancient Icelandic book of his student Alexander von Humboldt:
‘Descend into the crater of Sneffel Jökull and you will reach the centre of the earth...’
Fascinated by the possibility of reaching the centre of the earth by entering an extinct volcano, the professor and Alexander embark on this dangerous adventure together...
You can experience what awaits them on their journey!
Descend into the Rübeländer Baumannshöhle, because our ‘Journey to the Centre of the Earth’ begins right here: deep underground, in the heart of the Harz Mountains.
