An old story says that somewhere on earth lives the proud Snow Queen. She is the ruler of snow and ice.
People say that she flies from town to town, looks in at the windows, and then the panes are as beautifully frosted as if they were decorated with flowers. Anyone who meets her turns their heart to ice.
When her best friend Kay disappears one day, Gerda sets off to look for him, unaware of the adventure that awaits her. But through the power of her innocent, boundless love and with the help of the new friends she makes on her long journey, she manages to penetrate the realm of the Snow Queen. Will she manage to free her best friend from the clutches of the cold and the eternal ice...?
